Megan Fleeman Selected as a Peer Mentor at Missouri Baptist University

Megan Fleeman has been selected as a peer mentor for first-year students at Missouri Baptist University this fall. Fleeman is a sophomore from Bloomsdale, Mo., who is majoring in early childhood education.

Peer mentors play an important part in helping first-year students transition into college. In addition to offering encouragement and guidance, mentors co-facilitate small group sessions of 20-22 students as part of Collegiate Seminar, MBU's first-year orientation class. Mentors are chosen each year after a selective application and interview process.
