Mac Davenport of Maryland Heights, Mo., to perform in Missouri Baptist University's first theatre production of the season

Mac Davenport will be opening the 2012-2013 theatre season in Missouri Baptist University's Fine Arts debut of "The Spitfire Grill" Sept. 6-9. Davenport is a sophomore from Maryland Heights, Mo., majoring in Christian ministry.

MBU's production of "The Spitfire Grill," based off Lee David Zlotoff's award-winning film, features the story of misfit residents from a small town who are broken in different ways all searching for a chance of redemption. The shows are Sept. 6-8 at 7:30 p.m. and Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. in the Pillsbury Chapel and Dale Williams Fine Arts Center, located a quarter mile from the intersection of highways 40 and 270.
