Julie Beehler Selected to Participate in MBU Institute for Leadership

2013 Nov 15

Julie Beehler has been selected to participate in the Missouri Baptist University Institute for Leadership in the program's inaugural year. Beehler is a junior from Kodiak, Alaska, who is majoring in human services.

The MBU Institute for Leadership offers students a chance to improve their leadership skills, hear from successful leaders in the St. Louis community, receive mentorship from a faculty or staff member, and learn about their personal leadership style and strengths. The program requires students to complete 100 service hours, a mission trip, and a community service project. After all hours are completed, students will receive recognition on their transcript and be recognized at the Outstanding Students of Achievement ceremony.

Missouri Baptist University is a Christ-centered university located in Saint Louis. MBU offers more than 40 undergraduate degrees; graduate degrees in education, business, religion, health and sport sciences, and criminal justice; and two doctoral programs.
