Ian Harrier Named an Outstanding Student of Achievement at Missouri Baptist University

Ian Harrier received the 2014 Mathematics Outstanding Student of Achievement Award and the Reinsurance Group of America, Inc. Outstanding Scholar Award at Missouri Baptist University and was recognized at an awards ceremony April 1. Harrier is a senior from Belleville, Ill., who is majoring in mathematics.

Recipients of division awards are selected by a faculty vote within each academic division. Included in the criteria are academic achievement, character, and extracurricular involvement. Outstanding Scholars must meet specific criteria provided by the sponsoring organization.
