Brooklyn Lovelace of St. Louis, Mo., Represents Missouri Baptist University at Local Music Auditions

2013 Mar 8

Brooklyn Lovelace placed first in the Senior Women Division at the St. Louis chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) auditions on March 3 at Lewis & Clark Community College.

Lovelace is from St. Louis, Mo., and is majoring in music performance at Missouri Baptist University.

In order to sing in the auditions, students must be taking voice lessons from a member of NATS who teaches privately or in a university/college in the greater St. Louis area or eastern Illinois. Each student sings two selections with at least one in English, and their vocal adaptability is showcased by having an accompanist with whom they have never worked.
